Yard House is promoting a winter 2013 opening date. A glass-enclosed keg room, a standard design feature for the chain, will rise through two floors. The interior design consists of simple muted colors and plenty of functional and unfussy chairs and tables. The restaurant exterior will be given an urban warehouse style look with a metal staircase leading directly up to the second floor patio. The Linq estimates 2,240 passengers will be riding the attraction per hour. With almost 4,500-square feet of patio seating on the first two floors, views of the High Roller will be a major selling point. Yard House is being constructed next to the Linq's taxi drop-off and valet area. At almost 17,000 square feet, it will still be dwarfed by fellow tenant Brooklyn Bowl's monster-sized 77,000-square-foot bowling alley and restaurant combo project. The beer and comfort food chain restaurant will be located at the far end of the Linq's promenade. A three-story, beer-friendly Yard House looks to become The Linq's largest stand-alone restaurant and wins the closest view of the 550-foot High Roller Ferris wheel attraction.
